McDonald's delivery sounds like a dangerous thing, diet-wise!

Last night we got pizza delivered to celebrate DS getting his driver's permit.

Oh, I loved it when my teens reached driving age. I hated paying the insurance. But I loved it when they forgot something they needed to bring to school the next day, and I could just toss the keys to them.

I am hesitant to buy a new car because of how weird the keys/ignitions are now.

I've actually gotten used to DH's. You don't put the keys in anywhere, just have to have them on you, and there is a power button. The best thing is the ease of locking/unlocking the doors when my hands are full of groceries!

The McD's up the road did a remodel. They now have 2 order lanes, 4 self order kiosks and 3 registers. Then there's a screen showing orders pending and orders serving!
And now they put whipped cream and a cherry on shakes. Still the same premix shakes though.

I have three cats. At least once a week, I step in vomit. Gah! Related to that - last week I was watching Four Weddings on TLC. The bride washed the groom's feet at the reception. So weird. But, because of my cat situation, I could use her as a friend.

I could never have a professional pedicure. I am too ticklish on my feet!

I've never been a Barbie girl. Fortunately, I had a DS that like me wasn't interested in dolls. We're a sports family.

By Pink - do you mean Alecia Moore or the classic hit "Think Pink" by Barbie? The first is still around - just had her second kid. The second lives on on You Tube. My oldest had a cassette with Think Pink on it. We listened to it over and over again in the car driving to the mall in Bellingham, WA. I think of it as the official anthem of Bellingham. I wonder why more cities don't have anthems.

Too funny, my DD is as well. She is in the dual enrollment program. She will move out next year to go away to school.

My son was in the dual enrollment for a full year, then we realized he couldn't take all the classes he needed unless we went ahead and graduated him. So, he is finishing the program as a full fledged college student (as of January.) It is cheap, we don't mind paying, and would rather pay to get what is needed.

The only reason I sometimes go to McDonald's on trips is because they have Lattes. They are always shocked that I want a PLAIN latte with no sugar syrup in there. Honestly, even tough they aren't barista made, they seem to be as good as Starbucks, which isn't great, but is fine in a pinch.

NEW YORK STYLE CHEESECAKE RULES!!!! and I'm pretty sure you could have gotten it at Woolworth's in NYC at Christmas time only now one could be eating a McDonald's McFlurry while sipping on a Latte flicking the button on their new car key fob to start and stop the engine so as to keep it warm while the snow is falling.
