The PGA is being played down the road from our house-well, ok about 30 miles down the road. We were out on Monday and figured Tiger wouldn't be there yet, missed him by 15 minutes.

We are off to watch the opening round today. It is going to be mid 90's and HUMID with no shade, but heck, a chance to watch Tiger play is worth it!! Oh, I guess we will see some other golfers too. :lmao::lmao: :woohoo::woohoo:

Have fun! Any time we've been able to see him--- you always knew where he was by the sheer size of the crowd surrounding him.
:goodvibes

It's almost like he's playing by himself.

Have a great time!

We saw Tiger play in the 2000 TPC in Florida. His tee off time was 6:45 am and there were only about 150 people there at the time, which was amazing that we got to see him with really no one else around. By the time he got to the 5th hole there were hundreds of people following him :)

They estimated at the Tuesday practice round 10,000 people were following him. I will probably sit on a hole and watch all the golfers. I want to actually watch the golf more then just Tiger. There are a couple spots where you can sit and see 3 or 4 holes so I will scout out one of those.

We went to Firestone Sunday & watched the tournament. If you want to see Tiger, then I would go to the first hole about an hour before he tees off - get a good spot & then wait.

We sat at the first green about 45 minutes before his tee time & the crowd was at least 5 people deep when he was coming up. The crowd following him grew bigger & bigger as the day went on. We saw him again at the 10th green & tee off at 11. The mob was crazy following him at that point.

If you enjoy seeing guys who hit it along way off the tee, watch JB Holmes or Alvaro Quiros - Alvaro is freakish long off the tee - saw him hit his tee shot on 17 & it was at least 75 yards longer than anyone else we saw. Vijay Singh was on the green laughing at how far Alvaro hit the drive. It was neat to watch how good those guys really are.

Tiger teed off on the back 9 so when we got to the course we were about 3 groups before he was on the 1st green. We waited by the path between hole 1 and 2 and watched him putt and walk over to #2. I was about 3 feet away from him :woohoo:. I then moved over to the 7th hole, found a great spot right on the rope. I sat there all afternoon. Saw Tiger come through about an hour later. I got to see a lot of my favorites. We had to leave to get DD back for marching band practice otherwise I would still be there.
