Anyone watching Off The Map tonight? I think it's by the producers of Grey's Anatomy.

Hmmmm now I will def watch it! I need another show for my line up!

I recorded it.... Could anyone who did watch it last night please let us DVR folks know whether it started and ended on time? Apparently, ABC announced at about 9pm (Eastern) that it would be delayed 20 minutes, due to the speech going long, and then about fifteen minutes later they reversed themselves and bumped Cougar Town for the evening, supposedly putting Off the Map back on at 10pm. Did they do that, and keep to the clock that closely?

I recorded it, plan to watch it today. The previews looked good to me.

It started on time for me. They ended Modern Family early and then played the end of another episode to match up the time. Cougar Town did not show. Off the Map started and ended as scheduled so there should be no issue with yoru DVR

lost interest about 15 minutes in....for me, the best thing about it was the scenery of the wide shots. Seems like a very predicitible show w/the usual character make-up, and again, all young , beautiful doctors lol....I cleanes out my closet instead.

I'm thinking that it might end up like Hawaii 5-0 did for me. I like Hawaii 5-0 but if I miss an episode, it's no big deal.

I liked the characters and loved the scenery. But the blood and guts was a bit too much for me! I'll admit, I don't watch any medical drama-type shows anymore, but this one really seemed over the top to me. There's definitely a reason why I'm not in the medical profession. :rotfl: Not sure whether I'll watch next week...

I mentioned earlier in this thread that I had recorded it. I watched it earlier this afternoon and loved it. I'm a sucker for medical shows (and books) anyway, but thought this one was "a bit different" with it being in a jungle. Loved the gorgeous scenery, and while I don't want to give anything away about the "blood and guts" to those who haven't watched I got into those parts as well. Especially the part with the man and his arm, as DH and I have done that activity ourselves before. And at one point I had tears in my eyes, as it reminded me of my MIL and the things she and FIL didn't get time to do before she passed away from ALS. :( I hope this show lasts, and doesn't get the axe after just a few episodes.

They're pre-empting Private Practice tonight at 10pm Eastern to rerun the Off The Map premiere, for those who may have missed it.

Hopefully that's just a local thing. I have very few favorite TV shows, and Private Practice is one of them so I'm really looking forward to that and Grey's tonight.

I did think that the part near the end where the wife's ashes are poured into the pond was a very beautiful, moving moment.

I'm also on the fence...I'll give it one more go but think I expected more.

It was ok for me, would watch again, but then I saw the scenes from next week's episode, and :faint:I don't do snakes, so maybe I'll be skipping that one. :upsidedow
