I just booked a trip for Nov. 1. We come fairly often so I feel like we keep doing the same restaurants. Hit me with ideas of things off the beaten path?? My kids are 14, 8 and 5. I do like to do character meals b/c I find it easier to interact with characters that way and my 2 youngest are still into that!

For more info- Used to love Ohana, tired of it though. We've done all the usuals, Chef Mickey's, Crystal Palace, BOG, Tusker House.

What am I missing?

Ravello at the Four Seasons is excellent. It has an absolutely fantastic breakfast buffet - very, very good food and a tremendous variety of it, plus excellent character interaction. Dinner is great too but no characters. It's an easy Uber or Lyft ride to the hotel.

Ever done 1900 Park Fare? The food isn't over the moon, but the character interaction was really fun.

I love Garden Grill breakfast for a character meal. I enjoy dinner as well, but the breakfast is my favorite.

Tratoria al Forno for breakfast (Ariel, Prince Eric, Rapunzel and Flynn Ryder). I second 1900 Park Fare, at dinner the stepsisters is particular are awesome.

This and Garden Grove at the Swan are about as off the beaten path as it gets for character meals.

The phrase "off the beaten path" makes me think of Olivia's.

I did the Ravello character breakfast once, but was not a fan. The french toast was very good, but IMHO all the other food was just OK, and it was more expensive than a lot of the other character breakfasts. I do like the other character meals mentioned above (although have not yet tried the Bon Voyage breakfast).

Next trip I'm trying House of Blues for the first time.

I agree with Cape May Cafe for a relatively easy-to-get character meal. It's one of my favorites. Olivia's and Boatrights are also two out of the way favorites

I second 1900 Park Fare. We love Boma at AKL - that would be fairly easy to get to from AK. If you want some different QS while at MK, we've found Contempo Cafe to be great and an easy-to-get-to place from there.
