We just moved our trip from May to October....we will be me, DH, and then a 6, 3, and 2 year old. We are looking at either renting DVC points or staying at CBR by ourselves and then probably just alternating whether we do park days altogether, separate, etc.
Otherwise, we would rent at WBC and bring Grandma along. She could help with the flight (since we would have to rent a car and bring carseats) and then she would watch the kids so we could have the occasional night off or just take the oldest to the parks. Thoughts?

My mother has traveled with us many times, and it has been wonderful. At your kids' ages, a trip requires lots of watching them. It's nice to have grandma along.

I love when either my mom or MIL comes with us, but they come for vacation not to watch our son. They are in on all the fun, and aren't there to babysit. If I had a mom willing to watch my son you can bet she would be on every trip with us.

My mom comes on every trip with us! She does everything with us too. Occasionally she'll stay at the resort pool while we go to the parks. She's not Disney obsessed like us, so she stays at the room after we put our kids to bed and my DH and I go here or there. Sometimes my DH stays and we go out for a bit. We pay for everything (including her AP, meals, travel, room charges) as we appreciate her doing this for us.

My mom probably wouldn't come at the parks, she is totally a lay by the pool and read a book kind of girl. I would imagine she would just hang out at the resort and relax when the kids weren't there and then spend time with the kids when they were. I wish I could just make a decision and be done with it :)

I say do it! If she's okay with it, you won't regret it! Good luck!

Easiest answer ever - bring Grandma. Plan 2-3 date nights - you can walk to some amazing restaurants from WBC (feed the kids after a park day and then dress up and have a wonderful dinner at Deep Blu or La Luce). Enjoy some time for adults only - you'll need it after dealing with little kids all day:)...
