Off-Site with Dog

We are planning on driving down to Orlando over President's Day weekend. Feb 12th-16th. I have never stayed off-property before, but we would like to be able to bring our dog with us instead of sticking her in a kennel all day and night. Does anyone know of any good Hotels that are inexpensive, pet-friendly, close to Disney and possibly offer a military discount. I know I am asking for a lot....but if anyone could help that would be great!

Maybe you can do a google search for pet friendly hotels orlando fl. You should be able to find some information that way as well. Hope this helps you out.

Resdence Inn I know takes dog and has a dog run. Also some of the Marriott properties take dogs. There are some off site villas that take dogs.

A good website I look at for our hotel on the way to and from Orlando is www.dogfriendly.com They list hotels all over the place that are pet friendly and their fees for it.

I know LaQuinta hotels accept pets and don't charge a fee for it.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Sunspree Kidsuites about 3 years ago -- they had a good pet policy and were close to WDW. I think you would need to put the dog in a kennel during the day while you're away for a long time at the parks, of course. We could leave our cat in the room except for at least one housekeeping day every so often (I don't remember the interval).
