off site resorts ... sun to sun only ??

Im very new and have never booked a resort.

Our trip is April 14-21 (tues-tues) due to best airfare available.

Im encountering that skyauction, ebay, etc are bundled as weekend arrival and departure.

Am i missing something or is there a way to book all or a portion of our dates at a resort like bonnet creek.

Try vrbo.com or homeaway -- for both sites you can plug in your dates and rent through private owners or property management companies. Most do not have specific date requirements (other than maybe a # of days minimum) and will rent to you for any arrival and departure dates you want.

Last 2 times we've stayed 10-12 days so definitely was not Sun-Sun. We are Mon-Mon this time. I admit did find some that were specific but if you emailed direct some would work with you if the dates were open. Seems to depend which company you were dealing with or private owner.

I booked Friday-Tuesday at Bonnet Creek.

This can be done at Bonnet---technically, you are booking part of two timeshare "weeks," and the system will say that you might have to move in the middle, but Bonnet Creek is run more like a hotel than a timeshare in terms of inventory management. I don't think I've ever heard of someone actually having to move in this situation. It's a little more expensive for the owner to book this way unless they have unlimited housekeeping, but most "landlords' probably do have unlimited HK, so it's not a big concern.

But, the things on ebay, etc. are pre-booked by an owner hoping to rent it later. You will have to get someone to specifically book this for you, and you might not be able to do it last minute as there might not be any inventory left.
