Off Site Larger House for Universal Trip

I posted in the Universal thread too but I wonder if there would be more responses here...

We are a potentially larger group traveling to Universal but are considering staying off site given the size of our group. Does anyone have suggestions about larger houses which are close to Universal? We would love a 5+ bedroom house that is clean, safe and conveniently located near Universal.

Personally, I would love to stay onsite at Cabana Bay for the convenience. But with a bigger group, we may decide to save a little $.

There are no short term rentals allowed in Orange County...you will have to look closer to Disney...such as Kissimmee or Davenport. There are villas (timeshares) and resorts close to US, but no homes to rent. There are some very large new homes in Champions Gate and in Reunion. With all the driving and parking fees it might actually be less to stay at Cabana Bay. I hope this helps

There are many Villas to Rent ( 3,4 ,5 & More bedrooms ) All within easy reach of Hwy I 4 ( Which leads to U. Studios )

all along Hwy 27 ...... This is called Davenport ... but really a postal code of the area ( Yes there is a city called Davenport )

I was also going to suggest Davenport because it is very easy on and off I-4. We usually stay in the Champions Gate area of Davenport. We love that area because it is easy on and off I-4 (exit 58). Universal is exit 75 A off of I-4. It took us 17 minutes from the villa we rented to the parking garage at Universal. This is the house we have stayed at for the last 5-6 years www.vrbo.com/46990 including the year we went to Universal. We have also stayed in Davenport along Highway 27, but I think the Champions Gate area is closer to Universal than the communities on Highway 27.
