Off-site hotels with kids' activities?

My uncle goes to Disney World (like us) several times a year - our next trip is scheduled for March.They used to stay on-site, but now since the kids are older, they have been staying at Holiday Inn Family Suites the past few times because of: free breakfasts, awesome swimming & most especially kids' activities. They were looking at staying on-site with us, but moderate Disney hotels don't have comparable amenities, so can anyone give me some suggestions for other off-site (besides Holiday Inn Family Suites) resorts that have kids' activities and awesome pool areas.

Sheraton Vistana Resort - would probably work for you.

lots of activities and many pools.

Have you ever considered FW cabins - they have activities - but the pools aren't very good.

Orange Lake is also a good choice.
