Off-Site Hotels with Great Pools for Kids

Hi. We are planning a quick weekend trip to WDW in May (May 5- May 8) mainly to meet up with my aunt and uncle who will be in Kissimmee coaching a softball tournament. We want to take advantage of this time to see them and visit some of the parks and hang with the family. Since it will be warm in May, I would like to choose an off-site hotel that is reasonably priced that has a great pool for kids (water slides, squirting areas, wading pool, anything cool like that other than your traditional hotel style pool).

Anyone stay at a hotel with a "cool" pool for the kids (ages 3 and 5)? Your help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

You might look into the new Nick Hotel (old Holiday Inn Family Suites). I think they are supposed to be done with the renovations by then. The Country Inn and Suites Calypso Cay has a slide, although small, and mini golf, and a zero depth entry pool. Marriott Horizons resort has a Pirate Ship play structure in a pool with slides and squirters. The Liki Tiki Resort has a "water park" with several slides. I have not heard good things about that resort, though.

Take a look at the Raddison by the main gate. It's a mouse savers recomended hotel and has a awesome pool. I have seen it and it looks like it would rival a pool at a Disney deluxe. I have been thinking of staying there one of these days. Check out Mouse Savers and read Mary's review on it and plus the hotel gives a Mouse Savers discount. Give it a try!

It's not a hotel, but a timeshare resort (Orange Lake Country Club) has a fantastic kids pool(s). I would guess you could get a good deal there for a couple of nights.
