Off site hotel with a beach/sand??

Hi there!! We're returning to Disney, but want to try off site this time. We stayed at the Poly last year and the beach was DS's FAVORITE thing about the hotel. A swimming beach is not necessary as he just likes to play in the sand and enough to build sanscastles and such.

The other reason we're planning on staying offsite as we're DEFINETLY getting a car this time and planning on spending more time at Universal and SeaWorld then Disney this trip.

Any good recommendations??? We're pretty open to anything, just want to be within 30 minutes of MK, Universal and SeaWorld. Not asking too much

Hard Rock Hotel has a 12,000-square-foot pool with a sand beach, underwater stereo, a 260-foot pool slide and rentable themed cabanas

Caribbean Beach (on Disney, I know) I heard has the best sand to play in (but I haven't been there)
