Hi - does anyone have any information on the Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites or the Fairfield Inn & Suites nearest to Universal? Planning a quick getaway in January and wanted something inexpensive since we are taking a major family vacation to Orlando in August. Thanks.

My daughter stayed at the Baymont, which is in the same area, and said it was fine.

We have stayed at doubletree in that area and it has always had clean rooms and friendly staff and starbucks in the lobby :thumbsup2

I stay at the FairField Inn on Canada Avenue and it was great and clean. I like free breakfast. I got it for 80.00 dollars a night for July 4th weekend.

I always check TripAdvisor.com before my stays...

I stayed at the Best Western Lakeside in July of this past year and it was great. 3 pools, mini golf, clean rooms ect. We will be staying again in May of 2009 for our week after Disney. It was only $65 a night. I got it for $55 due to a discount with my job.
