Off Site Guest Driving to Poly

We will be staying off site next week and may visit the Polynesian on a non park day. Looking at the map and Google Earth it appears that you have to pass through the parking toll gate and take the turn off just past the gate to get there. If you are not going to the TTC, do you stay in the far right lane and tell the attendant that you are going to the Poly and they will pass you through or do you still have to pay for parking? This is not an attempt to circumvent the parking fee.
