We will be at WBC for a week next year, but we have two days before our week starts that I am booking an off site hotel for the fam.

The important thing for our family is we need 3 different sleeping surfaces (DD and DS can't share a bed).

What are your thoughts? I have the following reserved with cancellation options:

- B Resort, total $250 (ish) including the resort fee but not parking. King bed plus bunk bed
- Buena Vista suites, total $290 includes free breakfast (quality sounds mezza - mezza) no fee, free park. 2 queens plus a pull out couch
- Holiday Inn Buena vista kidsuite, king / bunk bed. Total approx $380 - planning to cancel this one unless there is a huge advantage to justify the cost.

To note - our plan on arrival day (thurs) would be second half of day at magic kingdom. Second day (friday) we will be Universal all day. Saturday we will check in @ WBC. So location is flexible, since we will be at both WDW and Universal while at the hotel in question. Also this will be a peak week (easter week) so while I obv will look at mousesavers etc last minute, I don't expect many options right before we arrive.

Appreciate any input, and willing to listen to other suggestions as well. TY!

I would go with the B Resort but I wouldn't book this far in advance for next year. Wait until you are 4 months out and then book. You'll find better deals I'm sure. 2nd choice for me would be Doubletree Suites near Disney Springs (2 queens and a pull out sofa).

I do realize it's early, but since I'm looking at the weekend going into Easter, I fear the choices will be limited. I do only make ressies that can be cancelled because I keep hopping from one to another, looking for the lowest option. My first choice will be WBC extended 2 days at the beginning of our stay, but the person we are getting the points from says it's iffy for the dates we are looking for. I will look into doubletree - thank you :)

As you're doing a full day at Universal, have you considered their hotel? There are park perks, including the front of the line tickets with some of them. Check on the Universal website, if you're interested.

Your plan seems needlessly complicated by wanting to go to MK on your first day. I would suggest doing Universal for two days instead and do MK later in your trip. There is certainly plenty of stuff to do at Universal.

I would stay at Universal or very close by. There is no need to drive that far in traffic, it's just a waste of time and needless stress. You never know when you might get stuck in a traffic jam on I-4 and lose an hour.

I would stay at Universal at Cabana Bay, where you can get a room with two queens and a pullout couch. You get early entry to the parks, but no free express. A great resort. If you want to save money, the first day could easily be spent enjoying the pools and just visiting City Walk. Or you could just get 2-day park ticket.

An easy 5 minute drive from Universal but not on their property is Drury Inn, where you can also get two queens and a pullout couch --- plus free breakfast, dinner snacks and drinks. The food is pretty good and its a new hotel.

Good luck!
