Off Site Closest Hotel to DL Entry

Which hotel is the closest to the Entry of DL that is not a resort?

The Best Western Park Place Inn and Suites and the Park Vue are the closest, I believe...


...followed very closely by Desert Inn and Suites, Tropicana, Carousel, and Camelot.

If you want a review... Im gonna vote for the Tropicana. We wont stay anywhere but due to the fact that its clean, there is friendly staff, free breakfast, a nice out door pool, and super close to the park. You leave the hotel and can see the crosswalk that takes you into Disneyland

nice.. I would like to know more about any of the hotels that you are all recommending.. We stayed at the HOJO and even though we loved it, we just needed care for the walk and always found ourselves driving to the park instead.

We've stayed at the Desert Inn and Suites Twice. It is very close and has always been clean and comfortable. We can get a 'suite' which is basically two rooms with a door in between the two. It's very reasonable in price and you do get a continental breakfast, which isn't the best, but it's enough to hold you over til lunch and it's free! It has an indoor pool and spa, which again, isn't the fanciest in town but works for a soak after the parks. We have reservations for our upcoming trip in May!

We also like the Tropicana. Our room was clean, and we loved the pool and hot tub. The location is what seals it for us though. It's right next door to BWPPI, so they are all right there at the entrance.
