Off Site Chicken and Rib Dinner Buffet?

We used to love to eat at the Cape May Cafe and The Whispering Canyon restaurants, and it was wonderful. Since the introduction of the dinning plans, I feel that the quality of the food in most of the Disney restaurants has gone down and the price for people without the plan has sky rocketed. So, I am looking for places to eat, off site, with good quality food at a fair price. Preferably a chicken and rib buffet. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I have often gone to the Golden Corral buffet on Irlo Bronson (192) west of the I-4 interchange. They have chicken of one form or another every night and ribs some nights.

If you took Sherberth Rd. (south) out of Disney, when you hit 192 (traffic light), take a right (west), then take a left through the median. Golden Corral is a half block walk further west; you can get a little closer by driving through some parking lots.

To find Sherberth Rd. in WDW, take Osceola Pkwy. west towards Animal Kingdom but bear left away from the AK entrance. Left at the upcoming light is Sherberth. (Straight at that light would have been AK Lodge. Right at that light would have been Disney buses only.)

Sherberth is a 2 laner and does not have Disney welcoming arches when you come back in. The road across 192 from Sherberth is called Entry Point.
