Off-site accommodation, HELP, please!!

This is my first time posting in this section of the boards and obviously I need help!!

I am having a Disney wedding next year!! and would like to provide my guests with some other options for accommodations besides just Disney resorts. Some of our families are rather large and may want to look into other types of vacation homes. I just want to be able to provide them different opportunities because if possible we would like them to share our day.

If any of you have recommendations of vacation homes or villas if you would kindly post them I would be eternally grateful. It would be most handy if they were relatively close to Disney. Hearing personal accounts always makes me feel better than just reading websites.

Congrats to you on your upcoming nuptials!! I stayed in a 3bd/3 bath townhouse at windsor hills through vacationcentralflorida and really liked it. It was super close to WDW; big; had its own splash pool; full kitchen, etc. Would definately recommend. Good luck!

For the past 2 years we have rented from Florida Supreme Villa Rentals. They are wonderful. Last year they messed up and gave our assigned home to someone else. They ended up giving us one of their Premier properties. It was amazing. We had 10 people in the home but never once felt crowded. The houses all come with a private pool too. Some have game rooms. I can't recommend them enough. Best of luck!

congrats to you! how very exciting! will you get to wear the mickey and minnie ears/hats with the top hat and vail????

anyway....we like to stay at the embassy suites in lake buena vista. It is very close and offers a FREE cooked to order breakfast EVERY day. in the evening there is a managers reception with free soft drinks, beer and wine. usually pop corn or pretzels too, and I THINK once / week something like hot dogs.... you can have 2 beds in the bed room area and a pull out full size in the "sitting" area. there are 2 large t.v.s and a very nice pool. If you have family traveling with teens scared1 this is a nice option as the teens can basically stay up all night watching tv and the parents can get some shut eye.

We stayed in a townhome at Emerald Island a few weeks ago. It was really close to Disney and we enjoyed our stay. Best part, it was only $450/week for 3 bedroom townhome.

We have stayed at Windsor Hills twice and loved it. My favorite location is mickeyscondo.com. She has condos and a villa.
