Hello again everyone!

I've been looking all over trying to find the dates for WDW's off season. We wanted to book our trip for next year so we can start putting $$$ away, but when is it cheapest to go?

Thanks gals and guys!!!!:smooth: :Pinkbounc :smooth: :Pinkbounc :smooth: :Pinkbounc :smooth: :Pinkbounc

We usually go in the beginning of September, if you can take the heat and the lovebugs, it's a great time to go. We have found the crowds to be very manageable (pretty much non-existant) and if you stay onsite it should be nice and quiet (we stayed at CBR last time and rarely saw or heard many people). Just a suggestion, I'm sure you'll get lots more! :p

Hi JXH1,

Thanks for the reply, someone told me Sept is a good month also because the kids are back in school and the prices are much more reasonable then.

Thanks again!;)

we like the week after thanksgiving because the xmas decos are up and they are so charming...we stayed at CBR 11/2000 and the place was very quiet...the weather was wonderful...warm during the day and cool at night.

I've also heard Jan and 1st 2weeks in Feb are value seasons. It's a little cooler this time of year so you may need to wear jackets and pants.

We go in January. Prices are down, crowds are almost non-existent. Weather isn't HOT, but in all the years we've gone, no matter what it was like down there, it was worse here in New England. Temps for January-Average hi is 78 average lo is 60, average precipitation 2.3 inches. We think it's perfect park weather, although it's not always perfect swimming weather.

Hi everyone,

Thanks for all the quick replies. I was thinking more of somewhere in May or June? Would that be value season? Our Honeymoon is in Dec. of this year and we're going WDW, so Jan. may be too close. (Though, it DOES SOUND tempting...but $$$ would be tight)

What do you think of May or June? I think June might get too hot already though.

Thanks again!!!;)

May-June is regular season. Prices are not the cheapest but not the highest either. I've never been during this season, so I will defer to others who have, but I would imagine that as schools let out, crowds probably begin to increase. Still I wouldn't imagine it being the worst time to go either.:D

May and June are regular season, so prices are a little more than value. We stayed at ASMo this May for $74 (tax incl.) with an AP discount. The crowds were there. We went last Sept. no crowds. I'm sure May isn't near as bad as summer, but more than the value season.

Went in April last year and found it pretty hot during the day though it did cool off during early eveing and on

I'd suggest May over June, and the earlier in the month the better. From mid-May thru June schools are getting out for the summer all over the country. Personally, I prefer September. DH and I like to go to TL and spend at least one day at the water park. It's always still very much summer in FL and since the kids are back in school, the crowds have thinned out. I've been in May and I've been in September and I find less crowds in early Sept.

Thanks for all the replies!!!

We think we may just check out the prices for Sept., it wouldn't be too hot, not too crowded, and the price would be reasonable!

ONE more question, if we don't use up all the days on the ultimate park hopper pass, may we save them and use them when we return next trip?

Thanks again everyone!

:p ;) :p ;)

Yes, Ultimate Park Hopper passes are good forever. We always buy a 7 day Ultimate Hopper Pass and use 4 days one trip and 3 the next, or if 3 isn't enough, we'll upgrade to another 7 day UH pass. We find it to be the most economical way for us, without locking ourselves into the annual pass.

I've been in September too, and it is a great time to go, few crowds, value season, warmer weather than January so it's great if you want to do a water park.

Have a great time!

The one thing to remember about September is that it is hurrican season. We also like September but were there last year when it rained every day (and not just the mid-afternoon thunderstorms) coupled with Sept. 11th we decided to try June this year. And you know what, it rained every day (and not just the mid afternoon thunderstorms) so I guess I am saying be prepared. We did feel better about it raining in Sept. when we were not paying as much money. The good thing about the rain is it keep the temperature down, and the crowds thin. We were in a lineup for Aladins magic carpet, 45 min wait, once the rain came everybody went for their ponchos we got ours dried off a bit then walked onto the ride. We were the last group to ride as they were shutting it down when we were done. We are now going to try November and hopefully it will not rain!!!
