Off on mini-vacation

I am leaving this afternoon for four days. I am going with two girlfriends to a resort at Osage Beach, MO, at the Lake of the Ozarks. We have a "beach cabin". Plan to relax, swim, shop, and eat out at night plus whatever else trips our triggers while we are there.

DH is on business trip to Iowa, DS is at scout camp. Leaves my dmom home alone--but the neighbors will check in with her.

Have a wonderful trip!! Some girls & I are going to Thursday's Royals ballgame vs. the Yankees - it's a Girls Night Out at the Stadium and they are giving away KC Royals pink ballcaps with "KC" done in rhinestones!!

Hope your mom has a good quiet time without all of you home.

We are back! We had a great time--shopped, ate out, slept late, swam, sat in the sun and talked forever--like school girls at a slumber party late at night! It was a great getaway and we are planning next year already!

Our cabin was right on the lake. Just out the front door was a cement patio/wall and there was the lake! We met some really nice people there, too. It was hard to leave this morning and come back to reality and laundry!
