This past weekend Off Kilter played at the Riverfront Irish Festival in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio (just outside of Akron, south of Cleveland)

And of couse I was there  Since it is only 25 minutes from my house.... LOL There were a few DIS"rs there through the weekend... but I forget the names... well except for Towncrier who came on Sunday and Tuffcookie on Friday night.

Here are a few pictures to share:

Well there are FAR to many to post here... so you can go to my album and look at all of them. I have not had time to caption them Here it is: Off Kilter Cuyahoga Falls 2004

Sorry I missed Tuffcookie on Friday night, but something came up at the last minute and we weren't able to make it. It was great seeing Off Kilter here in NE Ohio again this afternoon. And we had fund spending a few minutes with Debbie and her mom after the concert.

I sure wish that I would have remembered my hat and/or my sunscreen. Contrary to popular belief, the sun does occasionally shine here in Ohio. Perhaps I should have bought that Off Kilter hat. Well, I always wanted to be a redhead.

Hope to catch a few performances of Off Kilter in a couple of weeks down at Epcot. And we'll do our best to make it up to Euclid for Off Kilter when they return to NE Ohio on August 13, 14, and 15.

Thanks for the pictures. :)

Great pics, thanks for sharing!

We got to see Off Kilter last fall in Edinboro and it was a great show! Missed them in October while in WDW, they were out touring. But in Feb. this year we saw them in Epcot. Turned my DDIL (who is a CM and had never seen them before) into a fan.

Debbie, Your pictures are great....I still envy your laptop...gotta get one,one of these days!:D

I was so worried earlier in the day, Friday, when all the rain was coming down. I told DS we might not be able to go. But then the rain cleared and we hopped in the car and made the short trek from Barb. to Cuy Falls. I am so glad we did. What better way to get a WDW Fix than to go hear Off Kilter!:earsgirl:

TC

Is there a place to get the Off Kilter touring schedule? I had no idea they were in Ohio this weekend, although Cleveland is 3 hours from here. Are Ohioans as blown away by them as people at Epcot?

Why yes!! Go to their website Off Kilter and there is a schedule there. Off Kilter will be at the Euclid Irish Summerfest in August.

Saturday night the place was packed!!! There had to be at least 1,000 people there. Everyone LOVES them and have been at this festival for 4 years.

Debbie

Wish I had known they were going to be there - it's only a few hours from here and Iwould have driven down to see them in Ohio - I've attended other concerts there .

I bet you had a great time Debbie!

Oh yea we had a great time!

Here is the website for the Euclid Irish Summerfest :http://www.irishsummerfest.org/

Euclid is just east of Cleveland.

It is actually because of their first appearance at this festival in 1999 that I got my screen name. I heard they were coming and I wanted to post to the newsgroup RADP and needed a name, so that is how EpcotKilterFan was born :sunny:

Here is a link to my Euclid 2002 pictures (I can not seem to find my 2003 ones...) http://hometown.aol.com/epcotkilterfan/euclid2002.html

Boy I am in a picture posting mood.....:wave2:

Great pictures Debbie!

If you watch the slide show at high speed, and play a song from the Off Kilter website at the same time, it's like watching a video!! ::yes:: :teeth: :hyper:

Does anyone know why a different band has been playing in Off Kilter's spot in Canada for the past few months???

:(

Alberta Bound plays on Off Kilter's day off. Which generally are Friday and Saturday. Or when they are on the road the days vary.

Actually Jason, the fiddler for Alberta Bound fills in for many of the guys when they need a day off.

that's pretty close to me, wish I had known they were in town.

Need a snack next time you are listening to OffKilter music? Why not try Cotton Candy. It is light and airy and will not hold you down when you dive for the stage to get a closer look at the band. So if you don't want to miss an opportunity at a backstage pass, stop by the Fair Food poll and vote Cotton Candy. All the groupies love it!

Awesome photos, Debbie! It looks like everyone had a great time. Thanks for posting! :)

I thought that was this past weekend. Josh and I passed the stage while driving on the highway to visit my family. There was a huge crowd. I wish we could have made it! It sounds like everyone had a great time! Thanks for posting the pics!

My brother-in-law and his girlfriend were there.
They called us and said, "We are watching the most fantastic band, they're called Off-Kilter!"
They went back that night (Saturday) and again on Sunday.
I sent them the website about the Euclid show, I'm sure they'll be there!
