Off in less than 2 hours!! - live updates!

Well here we are at last - the day has come!

DD and I are both up at 5am - even though we live a stones throw from Gatwick and do not fly till 11.20 am - we just can't sleep any more.

All packed - ready to go and my Dad is not picking us up for another 2 hours lol! Just need DH to get up so I can pack his razor and change the bed linen for our housesitter!

Hoping to make the Dis-meet on Wednesday - just cannot remember where it is - just that it is at 6pm.

Many thanks to all who supported on the driving license nightmare - this will be the first time I have driven out there

Hope to manage a couple of posts whilst away - will need to check what internet is available!

Sat at Gatwick waiting for the gate to open - was informed that the in flight entertainment is not working on one of our seats when we did the bag drop lady told us to write to customer care when we get back.

Still as a group of 7 we can move round seats I suppose !

Why does time go so slowly at Gatwick ??

Grrrr flight is delayed to lack of starter motor in one engine. Looks like a 40 minute to hour delay although the collective groan from 200 people at the gate did make me laugh!

Arrived ! Picked up the car - brand new with 6 miles on the clock - did magic kingdom today did all the main rides and had lunch by 1pm very low crowds. Villa is great - feeling rather tired now!

Missed the meet - we were at seaworld very quiet there 5 min queue for manta saw the shamu, dolphin and sealion show and rode all the main rides several times. Wet day today so headed for a packed Hollywood studios - 80 mins on TSM! Hoping some better weather tomorrow!

We got a Toyota Sienna with just 6 miles on the clock - enjoy the driving and found the short cut via sherbeth road - literally takes 5 mins to get onto Disney property - missing the dining plan being off site though
