Off-Grounds Breakfast Suggestions

There's always the Panera by the outlets near Little Lake Bryan (off of 535).

We go to the Golden Corral out by AKV all the time. When coming out of the resort turn right at the light instead of going straight to parks. Follow road out to main highway and turn right. Golden Corral is about a mile down. Around $10 buffet for each adult.

GC is a tradition for us. The buffet is HUGE, th price very reasonable (there is also a Coupon in those coupon books), and it's clean (speaking of clean, avoid the dennys nearby - gross would be an understatement).
Leaving DTD, make a right at crossroads, then a left directly after the overpass.

I second (or third?) the Perkins. We used to always go there for the first breakfast of the trip but since we've been doing DDP it's just too much food to try to fit in. Since I think we will be winging it next trip I see a visit to Perkins at the Crossroads in our future. :)

Hate to even suggest it, but DH likes the Waffle House. I'm just a trooper. I think it's on 535 before you go under I-4, but I could totally be making that up.

We like to do the IHOP near downtown disney (just east and then north). We have also done McDonalds a time or two.....

Now come on.... there's nothing wrong with a little scattered, smotherered, and covered! :rotfl2: All of the Waffle House fans will know what I'm talkin' about. :thumbsup2

Don't feel bad, my DW rolls her eyes when I suggest the WH on occasion.

But they were burning waffles when we were there. Seriously.

I think for DH it's nostalgic. For me, it's meh. Glad we don't have them in Chicago, so it's okay to oblige him once in a while.

Wow!! Did not know that Shades of Green was accessible to regular WDW resort guests. Worth a drive over if they will let us in. Are reservations required or suggested?

I'm SO sorry - I have to retract this! We ate there but we were not staying at SOG, so I thought it was open admission. My DD has since reminded me (AFTER posting!) that we needed military ID to get in (we were there purchasing the military salute tix).

This discussion is more suited to our Orlando Board where you will find lots of off site info including restaurants. I will relocate it there, thanks all!

Bob Evans is close by on 192- kids meals are really really cheap and the food is great

Shoney's has a great breakfast, Golden Corral, Denny's

There's a Perkins outside of the Disney Village.

We've eaten at that one several times. The restaurant could use updating, but the food was great!

That's good too We just went down 535 and turned right.

We also like the Golden Corral on 535 (by I-4). The other GC's are kind of worn too me, and there's just something about them I don't like.
