Disney charges anywhere from 76 to over 700 dollars for a standard room. So when asking for the best. Please put a price range for what you a willing to spend outside per a week or day. It makes it so much easier and put amenities you expect.

It drives me insane its not just the disboards but everyone mean seems to think we have magical heads that are able to predict the hotel class you want and the price you are willing to spend.

Saying Disney is expensive I am used to Four Seasons and Disney Hotels are very dear is very different to saying wow all stars is expensive to the holiday inn (sic)

I just wish a person said what is the best hotel off site or on site at about 150 dollars per a night family of 8 etc.
Gives us a much better idea then. Disney is dear I have no idea where to stay.

okay need more information - when are your going to WDW (prices change seasonally) - is WDW you only stop or are you trying to go to other places as well

for 8 of you - OKW (DVC resort) 2-bedroom villa would probably be the best onsite - if you rent from a DVC member (cheaper) or an agent who rents DVC - David is the one for this site.

unless you are traveling in Sept, late Jan, early Feb - you can forget $150 on Disney onsite.

offsite there are tons for hotels, motels, and timeshares (for your size of family would recommend timeshares) or homes.

I am not travelling . I am just saying for people that are to put price and more details in the discussion to make it clearer for all of us.

There are so many options for a bigger group. You can rent a condo or a house. You can get two resort rooms off site at a cheaper place.

My favorite is Residence Inn Lake Buena Vista. You can get a 2 bedroom suite which will have 2 separate bathrooms with two beds in each bedroom for a total of 4 beds. There's a living room with a sleeper sofa, too. There's a full size kitchen, as well. You have the option of cooking meals. They have a wonderful included hot breakfast. There are not too many of these suites; so, I would book early.

The cost will range from $150 to $200/night depending on the time you visit.

there are too many guests here each day for you to expect them to read this. Sorry. most of them seem to be on their lunch break and some of them need the information now.
