If everything goes smoothly, and you don't eat breakfast that morning in the sit-down restaurant, you should make it. On our 11/6 cruise they started letting passengers off the ship around 7:30, so one could have made it to the airport no later than 9AM if they disembarked at that time, giving you just enough time to make that flight. We had the option of a 10:50 flight or a 1:30 flight when our Noon flight got rescheduled. We choose the 1:30 flight so we wouldn't have to rush off the ship and could have a more leisurely pace that morning. Also, if there was a delay with clearing the ship (customs has to clear the ship before anyone can disembark), which can be held up by a non-US citizen not presenting themselves to immigration, you most likely will miss the flight. Personally, we didn't want to have to deal with that possible scenario and decided on the 1:30 flight. We disembarked at 8:30, and got to MCO around 9:45. We did end up sitting in the airport for a bit, but browsed the shops and then ate an early lunch before going through security. Personally those 2 hours of hanging around were well worth my peace of mind knowing I was making the flight.Originally posted by tambo3
Will I get off Disney Magic in time to make my AA flight at 10:49????
We are currently listed late seating, if that makes a difference. Appreciate your replies!
You could either go to DTD, one of the Disney Parks or even Sea World for the day. If you want it more relaxing, the Hyatt at the airport offers day rooms for $75 per day I believe. It would give you a place to "crash" during the day and the boys could enjoy the rooftop pool. Then, you'd just have to walk downstairs to check-in and get on your flight.Originally posted by tambo3
Okay, that is good advice but I am bumming about having to stay in the airport until the next flight which is 6:00 pm....its going to be a challenge with my 3 young boys in the airport that long!!!
You'll be hitting the parks on MKL Weekend, which can cause them to be more crowded than usual. Also, the weather could be iffy, highs in the 50's at that time. Using that as a guide, I'd definately stay away from MK since you don't like lines. With the ages of your children, I think Epcot would be a little over their heads, and they'd be bored during the day. AK might be right up their alley and usually not too crowded.Originally posted by tambo3
If you could do only one of the Disney attractions, which one would it be with a one, four and six year old? Animal Kingdom? Epcot? Not much into waiting in lines for rides.....they are a little scared of most rides.
With those ages - I would do Sea World - kids love the animals!! The shows are great and you don't have to do much/no standing in line (you get to the show 20-30 minutes early and you "sit in line")Originally posted by tambo3
