Will I get off Disney Magic in time to make my AA flight at 10:49????

We are currently listed late seating, if that makes a difference. Appreciate your replies!

You don't have to go to the late breakfast, you could eat earlier in Topsiders. We did this this year when because of Hurricane Frances we had to alter our plans and get off earlier than anticipated. We ate and walked off by 7:30am even though we had late seating for dinner. Just make sure you have a few sitdown breakfasts during the week so you don't feel shortchanged and let your servers know you won't see them at the end. ;)

I would consider that too tight. Disney considers anything before 12:30 an "early" flight.

Basically the possible problems you could face are......the ship being cleared late.......delays getting off the ship.......delays in transfers to the airport......and delays clearing security at the airport. Just depends on your cruise.
We made at 12;35 PM flight...however unlike many on other cruises , we had to wait 45 minutes in line to get off the ship. 8:30 to 9:15 am. Everything in the cruise termial went quickly
as did the DCL bus transfer. Got to the airport at 10:30 am, checked in quickly, but had an HOUR wait to go through security. So we got to our gate at noon.,....just 35 minutes before flight time.

If everything goes smoothly, and you don't eat breakfast that morning in the sit-down restaurant, you should make it. On our 11/6 cruise they started letting passengers off the ship around 7:30, so one could have made it to the airport no later than 9AM if they disembarked at that time, giving you just enough time to make that flight. We had the option of a 10:50 flight or a 1:30 flight when our Noon flight got rescheduled. We choose the 1:30 flight so we wouldn't have to rush off the ship and could have a more leisurely pace that morning. Also, if there was a delay with clearing the ship (customs has to clear the ship before anyone can disembark), which can be held up by a non-US citizen not presenting themselves to immigration, you most likely will miss the flight. Personally, we didn't want to have to deal with that possible scenario and decided on the 1:30 flight. We disembarked at 8:30, and got to MCO around 9:45. We did end up sitting in the airport for a bit, but browsed the shops and then ate an early lunch before going through security. Personally those 2 hours of hanging around were well worth my peace of mind knowing I was making the flight.

Okay, that is good advice but I am bumming about having to stay in the airport until the next flight which is 6:00 pm....its going to be a challenge with my 3 young boys in the airport that long!!!

If you are renting a car why not go to Downtown Disney and spend a leisurely afternoon and then go on to the airport to catch your plane. We usually do that if we have a late flight, nice way to end a vacation/cruise.

You could either go to DTD, one of the Disney Parks or even Sea World for the day. If you want it more relaxing, the Hyatt at the airport offers day rooms for $75 per day I believe. It would give you a place to "crash" during the day and the boys could enjoy the rooftop pool. Then, you'd just have to walk downstairs to check-in and get on your flight.

If you could do only one of the Disney attractions, which one would it be with a one, four and six year old? Animal Kingdom? Epcot? Not much into waiting in lines for rides.....they are a little scared of most rides.

You'll be hitting the parks on MKL Weekend, which can cause them to be more crowded than usual. Also, the weather could be iffy, highs in the 50's at that time. Using that as a guide, I'd definately stay away from MK since you don't like lines. With the ages of your children, I think Epcot would be a little over their heads, and they'd be bored during the day. AK might be right up their alley and usually not too crowded.

With those ages - I would do Sea World - kids love the animals!! The shows are great and you don't have to do much/no standing in line (you get to the show 20-30 minutes early and you "sit in line")

We just got off the 11/6 Western, had a limo pick us up at the cruise terminal at 8:00 AM and were at the airport at 9:00 AM for our 10:30 AM flight. Good Luck.

I wouldn't chance it. We had one cruise where everything was backed up over an hour because we got to Port later due to winds and the sea.

I wouldn't take a flight earlier than 11:30am/noon.

I personally wouldn't chance it either...would be a lot worse missing your flight with your 3 kids in toe, then to have to wait for a later flight.

You could check into a day rate at the hotel at the airport, it would be a place to crash and they have a pool to enjoy. It might be a pain and a bore waiting, but then again, would save you the worry all week of having to make an early flight.

We had lost luggage, potty stops for preschoolers, and arrived at the airport to find the hour long line for security. With early breakfast and leaving the ship as soon as we could, we wouldn't have made a flight before noon.
