DH and I are foster parents, who hopefully will have adopted our 2 kids (plus their siblings) by the time our August trip comes around. They do have another sibling that is living in a different foster home (for now) and a new sibling on the way (not sure if baby will be here by our trip or not). DH's parents are going with us. How many strollers would you take if the kids ages are: 3 yrs, 2 yrs, 1 yr and then the baby? Not really sure if we would even take baby with us. Would you do double strollers or a stroller for each? We were thinking of even maybe renting just a double stroller at the parks for the 3 & 2 yr old and bringing a small stroller for the 1 yr old. What do you think? We have only ever taken our youngest to WDW before and that was for 1 night when he was 7 weeks old. TIA.

I would do a double and a single stroller or even bring your own. 1 years old is very young for the DIsney strollers (IMO). I think a 2 and 3 year old would be fine in a double. I bringing the baby deffiaantly bring your own stroller! I think a baby is just too small for those MK strollers! (I think I could fit in a double!) They are convenient, but 1 years old is still a baby and I think he/she would be more comofrtable in his own stroller.

I have no idea about the stroller but wanted to wish you the best of luck and send prayers your way as you start your new family!!!!

i have a dbl. its a sit n stand. my sons are 6 months and 4yrs. the front of the stroller the car seat fits in and the back my 4yr can stand or sit down. when the 6month old is out of the car seat he can sit in the stroller. if you go to ebay and look for sit n stand stroller you can see what i am talking about..

at those ages every child needs a seat. if you are going to have the baby there then definitly 2 doubles. and bring your own. if only 3 kids then 1 double and 1 single.
i have 1 year old triplets and a 4 year old. but even before the triplets we always have gone toWDW with my brother.
my daughter is now 4 and so is 1 of his daughters and he also has a 7 year old.
anyways my point is the disney strollers will work but if you want your kids to be comfy which is BIG TIME at that age and want toehm to sleep then bring your own.
disney strollers are hard plastic get very hot and do not lay back.
my brother use to use a double umbrella stroller when his were young (he works for disney and goes about 1 time per month!)
Last trip he had his double umbrella and i had 2 double strollers.
we are going in july and he will have a new baby so they bought a new double umbrella, their oldest will walk, but she is nearly 8 years old now.
i will be bringing 2 doubles. but mine are graco dou gliders.
you can usually find them on craigslist pretty cheap. or even double umbrellas pretty cheap at walmart.
good luck have fun!
