We were there from 8/10-8/17 and I made a PS for almost every day. With three ds (2 of whom are teenagers) our food budget is $150 a day. This is with a refillable Polynesian mug, lots of gatorade mix from the room brought into the parks and no breakfast (granola bars etc. ) Our meal was mostly a buffet so I knew they got a least a good meal each day except for little pickey ds 11. He could live off hot dogs and chicken nuggets. We had chef mickey (totally filled by 5:30), Fantasmic dinner pkg at hollywood and vine, (the hostesss at the door stated there will be no walk ups accepted tonight, we are totally booked, Thanks heavens for the PS, Whispering Canyon Cafe (never again), Crystal Palace for lunch (again the hostess stated to all those walk ups no walk ups accepted today for lunch or dinner, we are completely booked) (I was so glad for our ps again) and then just dh and me at Akershus (norway) for lunch. You could have walked in there. Then Trails End at Ft. Wilderness (You cannot make a PS here) and Rainforest at the animal kingdom (BEWARE: They will try to sell you their card and say you can even get in faster etc. etc. Well DONT buy it) My ds had a nice talk with our server. He EVEN told us they are trained in how to sell/market these cards. Just make a PS and wait. Then during the bad storm DH and I walked up to the Cape May Buffet at 5:15. They said not until 8:30 but check back around 5:45 so we did and we got in at 6:30. Sent the DS's to beaches and cream and they told us they had a 45 minute wait. So it depends on the crowds etc. But I like to plan etc. So I find this just works better for our family. You will have to see what works for yours. In the summer we really enjoy a nice early air conditioned big meal.
