Odds of wait list for Thur to Thur

We are booked at SSR springs in a 2 bedroom for Oct. We are going for the F&W Festival. We are currently on a waitlist for BWV and BCV. I don't care which comes thru, I just prefer to be in the Ecpot area.
My question is..... will a Thur to Thur reservation hurt our chances of getting into one of the other resorts. I'm thinking that maybe most people arrive on Sat and leave on Sat/Sun. We always have in the past. We are doing Thur/Thur because of Eat to the Beat. These dates will cover bands everyone likes. I'm just hoping that we didn't hurt our chances of having the wait list come thru because of a mid-week arrival/departure.
Any advice or comments would be appreciated.

I believe that a full week waitlisted anywhere for most times of the year can be difficult, but Epcot resorts during F&W can be tough. I usually waitlist for 2 or 3 days at a time. When those first days come through I waitlist for the next bunch of nights.

Of course you do run the risk of not getting all your days that way, but it has always been successful for me to do waitlist shorter parts of my trip. It really depends on what you are willing to live with: a split stay or none of your days at the resort you want.

Thanks for the reply....... may have to call MS and see if I can get a couple of days at an Epcot resort and then wait list for the rest.
Never thought of splitting the reservation or wait listing for only part.
I should have thought of this at the 11 month window and then staying at our home resort BWV wouldn't be an issue.....
