Odds of us having to move anyway and SSR?

We have booked a 2br BWV std view for 8 nts of our August stay. THe remaining 4 nights we have booked a 1 br std view (our guests are leaving after night 8).

Sooo... originally DH thought we should go over to BCV (but then we added a day at BCV to the front of our stay anyway, so guests could try SAB). Now he says, shoot, let's just stay where we are (thinking we could just close off the studio part our guests were using). I informed him we would still have to check out, however -- and my understanding is that quite possibly we would be moving to a different std view (possibly dedicated) 1BR.

What are the odds we would have to pack up and do this?

And if those odds are fairly high, should we instead reconsider a move to another resort (whether we pack for a 100 yd move, or pack for a cross-site move -- it's still packing and moving, any way you slice it!) I am considering calling in for SSR to see if we could go there. We usually spend at least the last day of our vac. at DTD, and also the fellas want to go to DQ (Disney Quest, not Dairy Queen) on one of our last 4 days. Or maybe back to BCV? Or should we chance it and go for our std view BWV, save pts and POSSIBLY save a move (tho' we will still have to do the check-out, check-in thing, but that's no biggie).

I don't have any advice for you, but it sounds like a lovely vacation!

They get people with split reservatins all the time, so just make sure they make a note of it.

A few years back we stayed at ASMovies. We had two reservations, because the booking season change while we were there. So we booked 2 nights at the value rate and then one night at the regular rate. We did have to go down and check out and back in, but we didnt have to move.

I would talk to Member Services and see if your reservation for the 1 bedroom is setup as lockoff or dedicated. I've had a 1 bedroom 4 times reserved at 11 months and all were dedicated. I once requested dedicated and MS told me my reservation was already setup as dedicated, so no need to put it in as a request.
