Odds of getting Palo Brunch reservation on board

I was on the Wish back in August and went to Triton Lounge on embarkation day to see if I could get a Palo brunch reservation for any day of the cruise for a party of two. I was third in line, and there was nothing available at all. The crew member said I was the first one on the waitlist, but we didn't get a call. I was bummed to not get to go at all, but I still recommend the "keep trying" method because you never know.

UGGGG, what's your status, I'm hoping they will hook up a Platinum member, lol

It really must vary depending on the timing of the cruise. I've never been on DCL before and I have managed to get brunch at Palo for 2 people on both of my upcoming Wish B2B sailings the first week of March. I feel very lucky. Guess the moral of the story is to try regardless. Anything can happen!

We were just on the Wish, by the time we got to Triton's they had no availability and added us to the wait list. I know there were a few others on the list before us but not sure how many. On the evening of day 2, I received a message that they had room for us on day 3 at 12:30pm

Good to hear 1 week to find out, lol

So...
Was able to get brunch reservation, could have gotten 2nd brunch also.

Got on at about 12:30, figured wouldn't have any chance. 2 people ahead of me on the line were requesting also. I explained w I couldn't get res first thing since I didn't have my passport when my booking date came up. Asked if he could hook a platinum member up, he state 80% of passengers were on this cruise, I'd say 15%. He told the assistant put on priority list. Not sure if this was BS but we did get the reservation.

Great cruise...
