I put in for my first choice of July 6, 2008 at 7:30pm my second choice is July 6, 2008 at the 5ish time slot, and my third choice of July 13,2008 at 7:30pm did I give enough options? Should I be worried?

hey there, yeah, you definitely have given this with enough time in advance.

July 6 isn't a holiday (although it is near July 4th) so I don;t think you should be worried. Only if Disney specifies that your day is chosen through a lottery, you may need the back up days. you should be fine!

Yea I know but I trying to justify it in my head that no one is going to want a 7:30 wedding on a Sunday because it will be dark and the reception will go till really late lol just to keep my nerves down. Also, can I call on July 6th this year right when it opens and will they be able to tell me right then if I got my request?

hmmm, I've heard different things here on the boards but I do know that you are penciled in and you get priority for the date 12 months in advance. So yes, call as soon as you get a chance on July 6th. At my 8 month mark I signed the contract for my custom wedding. Is your's custom as well? I think they differ depending on the type of wedding and venues chosen.

If you call dftw's directly, a coordinator will contact you directly, which is what you want if you need more specific answers.

I really think you won't have an issue with the date though.:thumbsup2

You should definitely call to get penciled in but you might have to wait until 8 months out to sign the contract. I think I read that you want to have your reception at the Yacht Club, right? If you use a ballroom at the convention center there, then you will have to wait until 8 months to sign.

Have you called Disney yet? If you have, then your SM can help you with all of this. If not, then give them a call and get a SM. Good luck!!! :)

I have my date "noted" with the planner for the WP with my first choice being the 7:30. I think im going to call Pam (my planner) on July 6th first thing in the morning to see if I got my date and first choice time.
