Odds of getting AKL villa's together

I am traveling with a party of 8, split between 3 deluxe standard view studios. What are the odds that when we request to be near each other, it would be granted. I mean from what I know there are not a lot of studios adjoining each other. Has anyone had experience with anything like this?

I already have 2 reservations, mine and my siblings linked via DVC, the other party traveling with us has not been linked, I was just going to send a fax or call the resort directly to make this request.

Any input is greatly appreciated.

What are the odds of 3 studios checking out on the same day that are near each other?

All you can do is have MS add a "traveling with" notation to each of the reservations. The resort will not accept a fax and calling the resort gets you a call center.

You can only hope. Are you at AKV Jambo House or Kidani Village? At Jambo House you all will be on the same floor for standard view studios since all except the concierge villas are on the fifth floor. However, there are long distances between the rooms. The room assigner does try to get your rooms as close together as possible. But sometimes it could be a floor above or below. That happened to us once and the kids just used the stairs to get to the other room as it was faster than the elevator. They did assign rooms near an elevator and stairs that trip, so maybe that is what they had in mind. We were doing 2BRs that trip.

We found it best just to meet in the lobby when traveling with families in separate rooms at a specified time.

We also asked that "Traveling With" be added to each reservation. You all will need to request that annotation with MS.

Yes we are at Jambo House. We were going to do the 2 bedroom also to make it easier but ultimately decided it is easier to be in 2 separate rooms this way there would be a little more privacy between everyone

I just called MS the other day to add people to our reservation. I told the CM that we were also travelling with another party who are also DVC members and staying in their own room on points and asked if it could be noted that we are together. CM told me that we would have to arrange a 3-way call with MS to get that taken care of. Grrrr.
