Odds of free dining?

We're going 11/9 to 11/16. What are the odds the free dining will be extended?

FREE DINING bookings have been over for months now. You had to book a vacation during august 13th to Sept 30th. Better luck next year!

I'd say the odds are zip, zero, nada, not going to happen, no way...

So far Disney has only offered the free dining to entice people to go during the major hurricane season of mid August to the end of September. Also Disney tends to announce the free dining about 4-5 months out and then end the offer about 2-3 months out. Since your dates are only about a month and a half away I'd say that if they were going to offer it they would have done so long ago.

Sorry but I don't think the free dining will be avaiable for you this trip. But that's a good excuse to plan another trip for next year!!! Check back around the beginning to mid April and hopefully they'll have new dates for next year.

The free dining promotion has substantially replaced the old AP fire-sale discounts, so I wouldn't be surprised to see more of those deepest discounts replaced, perhaps, by a free dining promotion some other part of the year, however, that would be most likely January, not November. Beyond that, it is unlikely that they'll do it, because once hurricane season is over Disney can get businesses to have conferences there in the "off-season" and probably do better that way, than filling the hotels with folks on the free dining promotion. I wouldn't say zero chance that they'll EVER offer free dining in November, but it is pretty unlikely (and definitely won't be offered for this year).

If you are talking about 06, no way. You had to book it last spring and then check in by Sept. 30th. If you are talking 07, well, we are keeping our fingers crossed that they will offer it again in 07, but it will probably not go into Nov as it was to get more people to come during hurricane season.

it's all about planning. DIsney would have made an announcement long ago if an extension was happening. Disney got alot more vacations sold this summer but I heard it was chaos cuz of the free dining.
