Odds and Ends Re: Cabins

Hi there,
Just reading through reviews of the cabins, however some of them seem to be dated several years ago and I wanted to confirm a few things before we leave in a few weeks

Things not provided in the cabin...and will need to bring on our own:

Matches/charcoal for outdoor grill
coffee
coffee filters
salt/pepper
pot holders
dish soap

Questions?
Is there a DVD player with the TV or just a VCR? Are there two tv's?
Do you get a morning paper delivered to the cabins? (how cool, if yes!)
Is there a hair dryer in the cabin?
Should we bring fishing poles? Can you get bait there?

I think that is it...for now. I appreciate and FW veteran responses, as this is our first experience going to Disney and FW

Some of the things you listed are provided; dish soap and coffee and filters a small amount ( you might want to bring extra).The TV in the living room does have a DVD the one in the bedroom does not . Yes there is a hair dryer. Sorry they do not have paper delivery but both the trading posts carry them. Have a great trip we love the cabins and we are sure you will too.

Yes, Bring your fishing poles. There are several canals along the loops where you can fish. Mainly for "sunfish - blue gill - bream & bass". The best bait to bring is white bread or the kind you buy in the jar. If your going for bass you will need to purchase shiners. Sorry but I can't remember if they sell them at the dock.

Small cups for the bathroom, maybe foil for oven pizza, or ready bake cookies, if that's your style. I also like those pop-up hampers to keep dirty clothes ready for the laundry.

I am assuming the Coffee maker is a normal size and not one of the 4 cup ones? Please confirm

They have a small 4-cup coffee maker on the counter and then a regular full size 12-cup in the cabinet.

Just got my "to go" coffee cups at Big Lots for $2 for a 12 pack!

Glad to know they have a decent size coffee maker in the cabins
