Odd things that gross you out

oh yeah... one word.... GOATSE..... :scared1::scared1::scared1::scared1:

I am having a really hard time not googling that. I saw it on the other thread. I also saw how horrified people were after they googled it. Idle hands...nothing to do today...:rotfl2:

Don't do it!!!!!
Just don't.

Oh wow... googled and read the description of what was there... that was enough. :crazy2:

Watermelon, in both taste and texture. :crazy2: This has to be an odd one, as I've never met another person who hates watermelon.

ETA: Thought of another one! The smell of Doritos. Even hearing the word "Doritos" brings back memories of that awful smell. We have a hostile relationship, those chips and I.

Those little rubbery bits in Chicken McNuggets. OMG, I shudder at the thought. I'm still haunted from my childhood. Blech!

Buffett restaurants. I know that I washed my hands but did everybody else...

Looking at someone who is dirty. I can't help it but this just skeeves me.

People makin out (I tried to watch The Bachelor ONE time and nearly vomited)
Ketchup
Toenails
Sweat (I have this great Queen live DVD, but Freddie sweats so much that I can only listen to it)
Teeth on cloth - the thought of chewing on a shirt (like my son used to) makes my teeth hurt.

I have to keep shoving the thought of that toad out of my head because holes creep me out like nobody's business. Not all of them; honeycombs and speakers and stuff like that are fine. It's mainly ones that are on something living. Oh God, I've got to quit explaining or I'm going to puke everywhere.

My husband hates the texture of watermelon too.

Me? Wet bread... Don't even come near me with a sandwich that has even a drop of "mustard water" (or soup or anything water based) on it... and WHY oh WHY does DH dump leftover pieces of bread in the sink? The water runs, then I have to reach in there and TOUCH the wet bread to get it down the disposer.

I also hate wet hair. GROSS!

ME TOO!!! My parents would have to send me all of my sandwhich parts seperately to school with me so the bread wouldn't get soggy!!!:lmao:

3. My biggest phobia (and grossout): being in the same water as fish. I don't go in lakes, rivers, or especially the ocean. The thought of slimy, icky fish swimming around, brushing against me, pooping in the water, and possibly trying to bite or sting me? Makes me want to throw up and run screaming.

This! I hate water that is not chlorinated in a pool. Just the thoughts of the bacteria makes me hurl.

And men with blonde hair who have boyish faces. Im talking men men not young guys. It creeps me out to no end.

I googled it. WHY?!? I was wondering what this had in common with the family cloth or Diva cup, which was what I saw it mentioned with. Okay, I suppose there is a slight connection, but (pun intended) EWWWWWW!

This thread reminds me of a scene in Austin Powers.

Austin Powers: Only two things scare me and one of them is nuclear war.
Basil Exposition: What's the other?
Austin Powers: Excuse me?
Basil Exposition: What's the other thing that scares you?
Austin Powers: Carnies. Circus folk. Nomads, you know. Smell like cabbage. Small hands.
:lmao:

Most condiments gross me out. Ketchup, mayo, any salad dressing, and tartar sauce are the tops. Pretty much the only liquid ones I will use are BBQ sauce, salsa, and marinara sauce.

This made me think about when you squeeze mustard out of the bottle and you get some of the clear liquid with it.....I hate that!
