Odd question...this one is for the ladies

Sounds odd but I need help on keeping my face on during splash mountain

Hopefully someone on this board can help. Every time I ride my mascara runs and I end up looking all raccoonish. Since we are planning on taking lots of photopass pictures this time around I would like to avoid it. Any reccomendations?

What do you wear and how does it hold up?

Do you use waterproof mascara?
That might help, I use just regular mascara and always look like a mess after the water rides, but I never care too much because everyone else getting off the ride looks like a mess too
Wearing sunglasses will help cover up the fact that you have messy mascara too!
Or, wearing sunglasses during the ride might block the water from directly hitting your eyes.

But I don't think you should worry too much. It's Disneyland! Just have fun

I Use waterproof mascara from sephora, and it does stay, in fact at night when i was my face it's hard to even get off!! lol..umm just turn away as the water splashes that is my other suggestion

I'm not a heavy make up person, however, I do like doing up my eyes. eye shadow, liner, and mascara. I would suggest not putting liner/ mascara on the bottom lashes. What do you plan to carry into the parks? a purse? small bag of some sort? If you're really worried, bring a small makeup pouch. In it you could put lipgloss, some cotton balls, a small bottle of makeup remover (este lauder has a travel size) and a small mirror. instead of makeup remover and cotton balls, oil of olay makes travel moisten fasial cleasers. It would be very easy to wip out the moist cleanser sheets and do a once over under your eyes.

MAC waterproof marcara is fab. Can't even get it off with make-up remover!!

How do you like the look of water proof mascara? I always thought it went on kinda clumpy. Of course it's been about 5 years since I've tried the water proof varity (can you tell I was unimpressed?)

Either that or reapply after, though that's kind of a pain.

Well I rarely wear mascara to DL but when I do I use waterproof. That said I've never been so soaked on Splash that my makeup ran....on Grizzly yes but not Splash. When I go to DL I usually wear my foundation (Bare Minerals) and a little eye shadow, I rarely wear mascara or eye liner to DL.

Maybelline Pulse Perfection waterproof vibrating mascara

Works great and the vibrating brush keeps it from being clumpy like most waterproof mascara.

I put on my sunglasses as we climb to the top Haven't had racoon eyes yet!! I am obsessed with wearing sunglasses though...even if it's overcast I wear them, sometimes the white sky makes it even brighter...

Sunglasses are a good idea.

I usually wear sephora buxom mascara and I"m not sure if that comes in waterproof. Guess a trip to sephora is in order I tried a great lash waterproof over the weekend and it ran just walking through the rain.

Somehow on splash mountain I always end up getting my face wet and looking horrid afterwards. GRR makes me look like I showered fully clothed. I must be a water magnet.
