Odd kids' meal question:

Do the counter services still serve the kids' meals in those plastic mickey head plates?

WDW quit using them several years ago but has DLR?

I didn't see any the last time I was there. I loved those and I was so disappointed when they didn't have them anymore.

My kids had french toast at the cs restaurant in tomorrowland and it came in one of those. I'm not sure about anywhere else.

They used them at the French Market, and I've also seen them at Rocket Pizza or whatever its called.

Over in CA at the Pacific Wharf the Cocina Cucamonga Mexican Grill, we got one with my sons meal, then the two teen girls we were with were upset they didnt get the kids meals so they could get a plate too.. I went and asked a server if I could have two plates and they gladly gave me two without charging..

I kept ours from our first visit with kids in 2006 and use them all the time at home. I even throw them in the dishwasher and they are still in great shape, but I want a few more, which is why I was asking.

For the record, we were told they don't reuse them so it was fine for us to take them before anyone asks

I never even thought about keeping them! I think next trip we will. They are just black plastic...maybe kind of like the black containers that the chicken caesar salads at Costco come in. Could be a fun container at home for a little bit.

We got them with a kids breakfast at Tomorrowland Terrace in April. I never thought about keeping them either. What a great idea ~ Thanks!

I never even thought about keeping them! I think next trip we will. They are just black plastic...maybe kind of like the black containers that the chicken caesar salads at Costco come in.

I kept the mickey plates and sometimes use them to serve food at home, just for fun. But then, I also kept a whole lot of the Costco salad ones, because they're great for potlucks or when we have leftovers after parties for guests to take home .

My sis-in-law has the ones from SeaWorld, which I will save when we go next month It's like a free souvenir!

The DL ones, as someone else said, are just black plastic Mickey heads. The plastic is thick and has three places to put stuff. I like to use them at breakfast for my kids
