Odd Buffet Reception Question.

Hello there; I have a really odd question regarding buffet receptions at Disney. I do know that they are priced per-person, and that we can choose what sorts of food we'd like included. If it matters, I'm now strongly considering the Attic as a location (for brunch/lunch and about 15 guests).

Now, I have full confidence in Disney that they'll provide a nice meal with enough food for everyone. However, my parents are concerned that we're going to "run out" of food and thus appear "cheap" to our guests (they had a bad experience at someone else's local reception where the appetizers ran out before they even got any). They feel that since we'd be having such a small number of guests, we'd only get a tiny amount of food and be scrambling for scraps or something.

Again, I can't imagine this would be a big issue, but I was wondering if anyone had any good/bad experiences with DFTW in this regard. Since it's a per-person cost, does it matter how cheap/expensive the food choices are? I would imagine the cheaper menus just tend to have more affordable food items, rather than less food overall.

I'm mainly asking to hopefully give my parents some reassurance that this would be a nice event. Thanks. :)

The prices for buffets are all based on the type of food you want, not the quantity of food you get. :) I know Disney is excellent about keeping the food restocked.

if our DP is anything to go by they do not skimp on the food amounts and i've never heard anyone complain that they ran out, i'm pretty sure they just keep adding more if one dish is very popular.

If anything we had too much food at our buffett! Lol! There was soooooo much, there was no danger of running out! :) All delicious too! :thumbsup2

Disney know how to feed people, I promise there will be plenty!!!

Maybe I had some big eaters, but we ran out at our dinner! The food was soo good that almost everyone had seconds of EVERYTHING, so by the time I went to go try some fish it was gone!

We had brunch/lunch at the Attic last year and we had plenty of food. They were great at replenishing the food when it got low. (we had about 30 people)
My only complaint was that they were so good at replenishing food that they must have been changing the tray of Mickey waffles when our photographers were getting pics, so we don't have photos of them! (another pic shows an empty tray where they were) ;)
