We have a mini visit October 17 - 20. Booked in February without knowing this is the week of the golf tournament! Since we prefer to avoid crowds, I am hoping we did not inadvertantly book during a very busy time.
Anyway, we have 3 nights at Yacht club concierge, then two nights at Universal (Hard Rock club). This is probably our last visit to WDW with our youngest (ds13), as we prefer to travel to different areas and experiece as much as we can all that this great country offers. As such, I have mixed emotions about this trip, but I know (from past trips to WDW) we will HAVE A GREAT TIME!

Have a great stay and I wouln't think that the golf tourney would impact the parks that much...

I was there last year Oct. 26-Nov2 and the crowds were extremely light and it was Halloween time. BUT it also right after 9/11 so that may have been a player in the light crowds but still i wouldnt worry because really OCT is a quite month anyways.
