Just wondering if any of you have ever visited any of the Waterparks during a Saturday or a Sunday in October.

We normally make a point of spending the day there during the week as I remember once been warned off weekends as this was a favourite time for the locals to visit:confused3

Thanks guys

Yes, one of our TL days in October last year was a Saturday. Minimal waits for the slides, if any wait at all. In fact it took longer to walk through the queuing area than it did to wait to get on the slides. Busy enough for atmosphere, but no worries about trying to reserve a lounger or get there early to do so.

for locals, october can already be a bit chilly for swimming - so they don't tend to flood the waterparks on weekends as they do in the summer...

We went to typhoon lagoon on a saturday and blizzard beach mid week last Oct - no difference in crowds.

Alot of Brits not local was what I noticed.

We were in the Fort Myers area in Oct before our WDW trip and there is a small waterpark there and despite the temperature being in the high 80's it had already closed for the season, so I agree, summer is more waterpark season for locals.

Very true!

Yup, seemed mostly brits when we went!

And you can tell how long they have been there by the depth of their tans :lmao: The new arrivals glow like the Christmas star :lmao:
