October weather what should we bring?

I have read that the weather in October is very nice but I have 5 children and now may parents who are 63 & 68 are coming too.
I just don't know what to tell them to pack.
Any insight to this would be a great help as we are trying to keep the suitcases to a minium.

When we went in October, it was HOT HOT HOT. I also rained all day every day. So, I'd say to pack for hot and rainy.

Last trip was in June 05 and although when it rained it only lasted for a few minutes, it was extremely hot and rained everyday at some point.
I read that the weather in Oct was great. Cool at night and high 70's during the day.
Is this no longer the case?

We went last Oct. 19-26th & it was hot but not unbearable, in the 80's. It only rained one morning & the last day there was in the 90's. You should bring a light jacket for early mornings/nights. It gets a little cool.

It was definitely NOT high 70's during the day when we were there. That was the kind of weather we got in January. It was mid to high 90's every day when we went in October.

We've been in October 3 times and it's always been in the 80s. We've never needed anything other than a light sweater at night with shorts and a tee.

we went in oct 6 years ago - it was a heat wave - it was around 94 every day. the cm's said it's usually in the 80's in october. we'll be there this october too - i'm planning for 80's. if i have to buy a sweatjacket there, all the better.

We went in oct last year and it was HOT HOT HOT and then over night it turned COLD COLD COLD!!! We had to go out and buy sweatshirts and jackets ect..We were at the pool one day just trying to keep cool and the next it was in the 50's for a high. Beautiful time to go but a real pain to pack for. Have Fun!!
