October Waitlist chances

Hoping to snag a studio at BLT from 9/30-10/4, but right now I would have to rely entirely on a waitlist reservation coming through.

Being that this is a food and wine weekend, do I have any shot? Right now SSR has full availability but I'd really like to be on the monorail for such a short trip. Any advice?

I am trying for the BWV for two nights for the next week. Based on the advise I received, I set up have a wait list for each night instead of one wait list for two nights.

You might have a shot if there is any movement by BLT owners to BWV/BCV. But if that's all booked up everyone is kind of in a catch 22.

I am trying to book a quickie F&W trip too - but have decided to go in Sept. bcuz 1st the points are lower in Sept. and also bucz there's a little more availability (4 resorts VS 1 resort). I'm just trying to go with the cheapest point value res that I can book (OKW). I've been trying to book all morning but the website keeps wonking out on me before I get it completed. Took me 5 trys just to get the points borrowed but I can't get thru the entire process online (error message says "service is unavailable"). So now I'm in a 25 minute hold pattern with MS on the phone to do it the old fashioned way. Personally, I would book whatever's available to secure something because the availability is so sketchy. If OKW wasn't available I would snag SSR in a heartbeat. I don't much care for waitlisting....would rather know I have something solid.
