Hi all!

Just a heads up - SW fireworks (Galactic Spectacular) have been put on the schedule for October - on my HS day (Oct. 28), Fantasmic is at 7:30, and fireworks are at 8:00PM. Also, as mentioned in another thread, AK hours have been extended to stay open until 8:30, so Disney has definitely been updating multiple calendars today.

How much in advance do they normally update calendars! We are going in November (1st time going in November as we have went in September the last two years, I am wondering if I will regret this!!!!)...
I still cant find any information on fireworks, parades ect for November!

Tks!

Looks like in October they are only certain nights. I wish they would add the info for November!

Me too I wish they would post November! Based on the October schedule they are only on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.....which for me, means not on the day I planned to go to HS after weeks of franticly stalking the dining reservations and planning my day's around ADR's I was able to secure! Ugh...hopefully they release the November schedule prior to the fast past window opening!!

They have only been updating a month in advance, so yesterday they updated hours for October. You can follow us on the SW thread (link in my signature) and the first page has all updated info and when they updated so you can keep track
Can you tell me about SW fireworks?
Hi, over on the SW thread (link in my signature) there are reviews, with photos and descriptions of all things SW at DHS. The fireworks post is page 1, post 11

November planning people - I feel your frustration with planning, it was hard to wait until a month before to get confirmed times! I just keep reminding myself that even if there are bumps in the road, I'm still going to Disney...which makes me very lucky :-)

That's a good point! lol...I will remind myself that as I go about my planning!! I guess I have been spoiled the past two years traveling in September - as EVERYTHING (ADR's/FAST PASSES) just fell into my lap!

But Star Wars is a biggy for my son - so I REALLY hope I can get my plans ironed out or maybe I will just have to add park hopper!

Can any experts help? - What about seeing both Fantasmic (w/reserved seating voucher from lunch package in case it matters where we'd be sitting) and trying to catch the fireworks after? Website says Fantasmic is 30 miniutes. When we are going it's at 7:30 and fireworks at 8:00, what will that timing be like? :-/

I think we might just hop over on Halloween to see the fireworks. I'm not moving a bunch of other stuff around on other days.

When they posted the October shows, did they extend hours at HS? I ask because we are going in November and HS closes at 7 almost every night. Was wondering if they add the show in November, will they have the fireworks at 7 or extend until 8?

During the first two weeks of October, which is the timeline I've been watching, they extended HS hours from 7:30 until 8:00 on SW Fireworks nights. The nights where fireworks were not scheduled were left at 7:30.

I also wonder about this

From my experience in July, Fantasmic was leaving at the same time the Star Wars fireworks started. You will be able to see the fireworks on the street to the ToT and RnR but you won't be able to see the projection which really makes the show. For us, who like Star Wars but are not fanatics, this is a not to be missed. We watched in 5 times our week in July. it really is amazing.

You can't watch Fantasmic and then make it out to Star Wars. Beyond the fact that it takes time to get out of the Fantasmic theater, the Star Wars Galactic Spectacular is not really a fireworks show. Most of the show is the projections and effects, with some fireworks thrown in.

Because the projections can only really be seen very well in front of the Chinese Theater and a little further back on Hollywood Boulevard, that's not a lot of real estate for guests who want to watch Star Wars. Even if you leave Fantasmic 10 minutes early, you'd have a hard time getting into position to see the projections.

In prior years, it was not unusual for Fantasmic to be scheduled twice during EMH nights. Should that still be the case, I think that will be your opportunity to see both F! and Star Wars fireworks on the same night.

I haven't looked recently, but has Disney added a second Fantasmic for any night in September so far? My guess is Disney would rather you have to come back to DHS for a second night during your trip to see both shows instead of adding a costly second show.

im trying to decide if i should see the star wars fireworks or stay at AK until like 730 to enjoy some of the nighttime stuff
