October SOG folks...anyone besides me?

Does SOG overflow count? I will be staying at the Poly since the SOG was booked up. October 14th-17th. Would be happy to see some fellow military families around the park, though.

Hi hucifer! I've never stayed at the SOG, but from what I've read online, it's around $72 a night or so, right? Well, the overflow rate I got for the Poly is $214 plus tax. Which is about 40% off rack rates. I would've loved to have had the $72 price, but at least I'm getting my first resort choice. It's a give and take I guess.

Prices do start at $72, but those are for E-1 through E-5. We pay $104 (we're in a different category).

Enjoy the Poly! I absolutely loved being on a monorail resort...I really miss the Contemporary when SoG was there.

As Hucifer explained, its "pay by rank" at SOG...but I think the overflow WDW hotels work on a different level of discount.

We'll be at BCV 10/16-10/23.....not SOg or overflow, but we are military!

My 2 daughters and I are going! My wonderful sister is our hostess.(retired AF) We'll be there 10/28 through 11/1. As of now, the SOG is booked so we have the Contemp. on overflow for 189.00 and remain on the waitlist for Sog. Either one will be wonderful for our "just the girls" trip!

I'll be there to buy my tickets, but I couldn't pass up the military 40% off at Disney hotels for my stay so we're staying 3 nights at POP and 4 nights at AKL..
