October Rainy?

We are considering moving our trip up from First week of December to sometime in October. Since that is hurricane season, does it rain quite a bit this time of year?

Mabye I'm super tired or something but I can't seem to find trip planning on that site.

We are going in October this year. I called yesterday to pay our deposit and I asked th CM what the weather is normally like. She said the high is around 85 and the low is around 65. Average rain fall is 3". Knock on wood, I hope that is true. I think it rains more in September.

We were there the first week in October 2007 and it rained at some point everyday. The previous year (same week) it did not rain a drop. We had a beautiful week. So, you never know.
