October Quiz, Question 15, updated with answer.

Good evening quiz-fans! Your illustrious question-master is heading out tonight for FIL's birthday dinner so I'm posting number 15 a little earlier than usual. This also means that question 14 will stay open a little longer than usual but I'm a generous kinda guy and I know how much some of you have been struggling rolleyes: ).

So, tonight, have a look at this;

When WDW opened in 1971, Disney had a contract with the Florida Highway Patrol to provide security at the parks. However, this little arrangement didn't work quite as well as it could have. Can you tell me why?

Have to say I enjoyed reading some of the responses to that one!! Really gave me a bit of a lift they did! This is what I was looking for;

Disney refused to allow guns inside the parks. Since an officer's gun is part of his uniform and cannot be removed for any reason, the officers were forced to remain in the parking lots, effectively leaving the parks without security!

Well done again to the successful entrants! That was a tough one and I am now off to look for a similar question for tonight!
