Hi, all our trips to Orlando have been in July, August, late August early September. I always find the humidity too much and this year we are planning to go in October, around the 17th.

Does it feel less humid this time of year? Will it be a bit cooler? Will there be less rain? What is Halloween like in the parks? Does anyone have any pics.......... pleeeeeeze.

Many thanks in advance.

Went last October, what pics do you want to see? I did a trip report called 'Anniversary Trip to the YC' if you want to do a search for it (haven't worked out how to do a link:confused3 ) We were surprised how hot it was (in the 90's) humidity was way up there too. I was in a strappy tee shirt at the MNSSHP at gone 11pm. Saw rain on a couple of days for a few minutes but we were in the restaurants at the time. However the week we came home it changed and other peoples trip reports said what poor weather it was so you never know!!!

Thanks for all the info Lizzie, I'm going to have a search for your trippie, hope I find it. I'd really like to see some Halloween pics if you have any. Thanks again :goodvibes

Here you go, character meal at Liberty Tree Tavern, show in front of the castle and a few of the parade. This was on 23rd October 2007

Thank you so much, now I'm so excited. I love the one of you all with Cruella. Still looking for your trippie.... I'll let you know when I've read it. Thanks :goodvibes

Brilliant pictures :) We love October time.

Went in October last year & the weather was lovely.

The MNSSHP was a great evening - wear a Halloween T-shirt with your shorts if you don't want to get dressed up - it gets you in the swing :)

Hiya - we have done halloween 3 times the last being 2006, MNSSHP was fab we had no children at the time (now have a DD) but we still enjoyed the atmosphere, parade and treat or treating. Now if you want proper scary horror stuff go to Halloween Horror nights at universal it is the most trilling scariest night ever (avoid the weekend thou *** all the locals go and its packed) if you love horror films and being made jump you will have an amazing night - not for children thou i wouldnt advise any kid under 14 we have seen grown up teenage girls crying (i know!) weather is a bit hit and miss but definately not humid so just take a lite cardi and a water proof just in case, some days i wore lite trousers and other days were boiling. Seaworld have a great halloween theme too which was every weekend in oct during the day no extra cost.

Thanks for all the info Julia,

Universal sounds bril, I think we'll enjoy being scared out of our wits :scared1: oooooooooh I can't wait
