Looks like there are a bunch of us going to the Poly in October. Thought it would be fun to have a spot where we can post our dates and know who's going to be there when we are. Maybe we'll run into each other.

We're there Oct. 19-26, LVC, joined by my in-laws Oct. 21-24. MIL & FIL haven't been to WDW in about 20 years, and then always camped. DH & I want to show them how to do it up right!

we have reservations at the poly and at the beach club for 10/9-10/17. beach club is water view, while poly is garden view. never stayed at the poly. i love the epcot area because i hate naps, and i love to stroll through the world showcase while DW and DD take naps in the middle of the afternoon. i am thinking that i could just hop a boat from the poly and tour the MK during naptime. Could anyone tell me what is so cool about the poly? Sorry if this post breaks with etiquette.

Or you could walk to TTC and hop the direct Epcot monorail.

I've been to YC and liked it-especially access to Epcot on an adult only trip. But I really fell in love with the Poly. It is much more of a true break from the parks while the YC is more in the middle of it all. It is so magical at night with the castle lit up across the lagoon and the tiki torches and music. If your DD is napping age you really can't beat MK access-boat, monorail or walk to TTC for ferry.
