Just returned from a wonderful 10 day trip to the world... and we already want to go back! We are thinking about late October or early November. Does the PGA golf tournament, MNSSHP and Food and Wine Festival effect the park attendance.
What has been your experience in late October?
Or should we go first week in November and avoid all the acitivities above..

Any suggestions would be appreciated from October/November travelers..
THANKS

If you have your choice of times, avoid 11/5-11/13 week. That is "Jersey Week" when all of us NJ folks flock to WDW because schools are closed for 3 days for election day and teacher conferences. It honestly isn't bad, but the week before is a lot better.

I have been both the last week in Oct., leaving just before Halloween and then the first week in Nov. Both are great times to go. I think the park that is affected mostly is Epcot. We found it was wonderful to just meander around there during the Food and Wine Festival. In fact, my girl friend had a last minute business trip at WDW at that time last fall. She had a wonderful time, all by herself in Epcot. So much that, when we started to plan for our dd's 13th b-days in Oct.'06, she asked if we could go for the actual b-days, rather than that summer. Said she wanted to to the FW Festival again, with a friend tho. So, yes...go and have a terrific time.

Mmm, Food and Wine Festival! I can't wait!

Weekends during F&W can be busy at Epcot. But I am unsure how overall park attendance is affected by F&W.

Thanks to all for your quick responses!
Disnesysteve: Nice to hear from a fellow New Jerseyian! :)
(thanks for the tip about Jersey Week)

I've been in both October and November, it wasn't crowded at all. We got there early and went on all the rides without any wait. Just went last November and the weather was still really nice.

:flower: We'll be going for the 2nd time in November, and really like it.Last time we arrived on November 11th,and the weather was great.......
This time,we'll be there from November 6-18th,and we're looking forward to catching the end of Food and Wine Festival and at MGM,the Soap Opera Festival.......
Have a great time, whichever month you choose!
