We're going in November 2017 too. If it's too cold to swim, is there an indoor water park nearby?

Not anywhere on Disney property. The Gaylord has indoor pools, I think.

We have often visited just after F & W ends and have found it to be a good time for a trip. (We try to arrive later in the day because DVC and the resorts are often crowded for the F & W's last weekend and check-in is not usually available early in the day.) Weather, of course, is unpredictable but often okay for swimming.
