Staying at All-Star movies Oct 12-22nd. Today I was allowed to select fast passes and customize my bands... anyone else?

just told by "my disney experience" technical support that Wilderness Lodge will be "online" for magicbands on 10/14. We unfortunately arrive on 10/10.

We have a split stay for BWV 10/18 and VGF 10/23. When I look at my magicbands it shows an order for each resort. Is that right? Seems like we ought to be able to use magicbands from BWV at VGF.

We are staying at Pop Century 11-15 and have already received our customized Magic Bands in the mail. When I called to book the trip a couple of weeks ago the cast member I spoke wih told us that we would be part of the Magic Band test. My daughter and I were doing a wild happy dance when he told us. We were able to log into mydisneyexperience.com the next day and customize our Magic Bands and choose our Fast Passes. We were beyond excited when we received our Magic Bands in the mail 2 days ago. Our Mickey Mail with all of our vouchers and package information arrived the same day. Yesterday I received and email and a UPS delivered letter also stating that we were part of the Magic Band trial. We can't wai to get there to try it out!

How do you know if you are getting bands?

In MDE, to the right it says personalize magic bands. It also popped up on my screen when I went to MDE. Plus it has were you can do fastpass +

POFQ October 11-13, since my DVC waitlist didn't come through! I was told yesterday that I was eligable and went on yesterday afternoon. Linked hotel, tickets, credit card and made FP+ arrangements. It was easy overall though I had a question I needed clarification on and a problem with one PAP voucher, but all was resolved via the telephone. Deciding now if I want to make any dining reservations or just wing it, but leaning towards winging it.

No. You have to have a valid park entry ticket for the day you want to order FP+. Or tickets part of a package. They have to be linked to MDE. I had a seasonal pass that expired 2 days before our arrival. (Normally just renew when we're there). I had to renew now, and call Disney IT "help" 5 times before it was fixed to where I could order FP+.

I was surprised when I logged in yesterday. I have been checking, even though my hotel was not on the list leaked of resorts testing for October. We got them- we are staying at CBR from Oct 20-28th. I only had 5 days left to customize them, so we are getting customized bands.

Now, I hope most of the bugs are gone by then

The official unveiling of all of the MyMagic+ features continues to get closer and closer, and for this reason, tests involving the new MagicBands and FastPass+ continue to take place daily at the Walt Disney World Resort. Here you are additional information regarding another expansion of these tests, which include more Disney Resorts:

Guests who were selected to participate in the next round of MyMagic+ testing are staying at the following resorts with arrival dates listed below:

• Arrival date of September 30 – October 31, 2013: Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge – Kidani Village, Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort, Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa and Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter.
• Arrival date of October 7 – 31, 2013: Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort, Disney’s BoardWalk Inn, Disney’s BoardWalk Villas and Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort.
• Arrival date of October 14 – 31, 2013: Disney’s All-Star Music Resort, Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, Disney’s Old Key West Resort, Disney’s Wilderness Lodge and the Villas at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge.
• Arrival date of October 21 – 31, 2013: Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground and Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa.
• Arrival date of October 23 – 31, 2013: The Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa.

Testing will continue at all the current test locations for Guests arriving through Oct. 31. These resorts include:

Test participants will be able to touch to enter their rooms, touch to enter the park, touch to pay at eligible locations and touch to redeem FastPass+ selections starting upon check-in and through their departure.

If you are visiting during those dates, be prepared. You may finally have a chance to try out the new features of MyMagic+ for the very first time (if you haven't done so already, especially if you are a frequent Guest).

Keeping everyone updated, customized my bands on Friday 13th at 9PM at night and received them in hand Tuesday 9/17. They look awesome, feel comfy, and are light weight. Looking forward to trying them out.
